Our reviews here at Gamer Madness are about all the new releases for the Xbox 360. We give our honest opinion about games, maps, and accessories. Our ratings are based out of a ten point system, to make it easy for you to choose what game you would like to try out, without reading the whole review.
Call of Duty: World at War
Many different places have been giving mixed reviews about the new game in the Call of Duty series, World at War. Some have been saying that it is not a good game at all, while others are saying that it is the best game in the series. I believe that it is a good game, but not the best in the Call of Duty series. The Campaign is just as exciting as CoD 4, and the online play is amazing. Plus, the added feature, Nazi Zombies, adds a new twist to the game play. In short, although it may seem like this game should be more of an add on, it is just as good as the CoD:4 game. That is why we are giving Call of Duty:World at War a 7 out of 10.
HALO 3 MYTHIC MAP PACK
The Halo 3 Mythic Map Pack, released on April 9th 2009, are the three newest maps to hit the Halo nation. These three maps include orbital, assembly, and sandbox. The most famous of these three maps is sandbox. Sandbox includes three sections. There is an underground map used for grifball, and swat. There is also a middle section used for slayer and objective games. As you enter forge mode you will find a teleporter that leads to an upper section in the sky. Along with the Mythic Map Pack comes three hidden skulls; one on each map. All three of these skulls are hidden and hard to find but once found they count as an achievement. Over all we give the Mythic Map Pack 8.5 out of 10.
Wheelman
On March 24, 2009 Midway Studios released a new game called Wheelman starring Vin Diesel. In Wheelman, you play as an ex-professional driver who comes out of retirement to help a girl from his past. This takes him to Barcelona and puts him in the middle of a gang war. Most of the game takes place in a car, however, there are some foot missions. While in the car, you will be able to do a number of different tricks which allow you to take out enemys. Two of them are the cyclone and the sky-jack. Throughout the game, there are 31 story missions and 104 side missions. Overall, Wheelman is an amazing game that will keep you excited for a long time. That is why, we are giving it a 9/10.
